Warehouse Manager

What are your responsibilities?
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all warehouse activities and all warehouse associates. Total responsibility for the overall coordination, quality, and productivity of domestic and international shipping and receiving of industrial gas turbine parts. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.
Essential Duties
- Manage monthly inventory cycle counts.
- Ensures operational procedures as set by the Company, ISO Quality Procedures, and import & export compliance are followed in the warehouse and by warehouse employees for activities, such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and preservation of inventory.
- Inspects physical inventory.
- Inspects physical condition & safety of equipment & racking systems.
- Confers with other leaders to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with the business of other functions such as sales, customer service, and operations.
- Liaises with domestic & international shipping and coordination companies as required.
- Establish inventory security/inventory loss prevention.
- Assist warehouse employees with pulling, packing, and shipping parts.
- Ensures safe operations by and for employees.
- Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and training of employees.
- Organize and oversee the work and schedule of employees.
- Ensure customers receive timely responses to emails and calls; this includes before and after standard business hours.
- Provide employees with consistent coaching and feedback.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handle performance management of employees as needed and in accordance with Company policy.
- College degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
- Knowledge of warehouse activities, shipping and receiving required.
- Experience with import/export compliance paperwork required.
- Use of full Quantum Control (Oracle based ERP or equivalent).
- Ability to manage time and rapidly shift priorities based on customer needs.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Adobe PDF, and web-based shipping portals (i.e., Fed Ex, UPS, DHL).
- Works well within a team and on their own.
